Peeta Mellark and Jena Malone are trapped in the Capitol and the latest propaganda shows them as models in “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1.”
Peeta (Josh Hutcherson) and Johanna Mason (Jena Malone) are now models for Capitol Couture in the latest “living portrait” posters. Check out the new portraits below.
Fan of the “Hunger Games” will be able to see the first trailer for “Mockingjay” during San Diego Comic International. Screen Crush reports Lionsgate and Samsung have come together to debut the trailer at the Capitol Gallery, located at the Samsung Galaxy Experience inside the Hard Rock Hotel, for 12:00 p.m. PST on Friday, July 25.
The “Mockingjay” cast is expected to attend, including the film’s stars Hutcherson, Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth. The actors haven’t spoken about the film yet, but actress Julianne Moore spoke about her character President Alma Coin during a behind-the-scenes interview with “The Hunger Games.”
"I've read all the books all the way through and I'm like, 'I want to be in this movie.' Clearly [Coin] was the only part I could play," Moore said. "Coin is very sparingly drawn because you don't know who she is because she's only spoken about through Katniss' point of view."
"And Katniss immediately distrusts her in the way sometimes a young person will distrust an older person whose not familiar to them or in position of authority," she added. "So [the director] and I talked about it a lot, about how do we communicate Coin's wholeness as a person. I think Katniss's response to her is very well drawn, but you don't know who Coin is."
“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" will be released to theaters Nov. 21.
