From "7th Heaven" to the "New Girl," actress Jessica Biel is returning to TV!
The 32-year-old actress is scheduled to guest star on the season four premiere of the FOX hit comedy, "New Girl," according to The Hollywood Reporter. Biel will play Kat - who is described as "the hottest scientist in the world."
Biel's character will compete with main character Jess, played by Zooey Deschanel, for the affection of a guy at a wedding.
The episode also features characters Nick played by Jake Johnson; Schmidt played by Max Greenfield; Winston played by Lamorne Morris and Coach, played by Damon Wayans Jr., who was promoted to a series regular last season. The four male characters reportedly challenge each other on who can go sleep with a sexy stranger that night.
Show creator Liz Meriwether talked on the failed romance between main characters Jess and Nick.
"I love them together and I don't think it's it for them at all," she said. "I've never been in a good relationship ... I just found that it's been easier for me to write them as single idiots out in the world trying to get laid and looking for love. I had trouble figuring out where the conflict and comedy was coming from with them last season. Admittedly, it's definitely fun to keep them apart for more."
"New Girl" returns with its fourth season on Sept. 16.
