Kelsey Grammer is a father for the sixth time.
"Entertainment Tonight" reported that the actor and his fourth wife Kayte welcomed their second child together - a baby boy named Kelsey Gabriel Elias Grammer. The newborn arrived in at 8:28 a.m. in Los Angeles, weighing 8 lbs., 2 oz. and measuring 20.5 inches long.
"We are blessed and excited to have this lovely young man join our family - he is magnificent," the proud parents said in a statement. "Our son will be called Gabriel as there is a tradition in our family of going by our middle names."
News of his wife's pregnancy broke one month after the actor's third wife, 45-year-old reality star Camille Grammer, filed for divorce in July 2010. The couple, who met on a Virgin Atlantic flight, suffered a miscarriage for their first pregnancy.
The former 'Frasier' star, whose full name is Allen Kelsey Grammer, married Kayte in 2011 and welcomed their child together, a daughter named Faith Evangeline Elisa, in 2012.
Grammer also has four other children - Spencer, 30, Greer, 22, Mason, 12, and Jude, 9 - from previous relationships. The actor is grandfather to daughter Spencer's son Emmett Emmanuel, People Magazine reported.
Grammer is set to star in the new FX sitcom "Partners" alongside co-star Martin Lawrence. The actors star as two Chicago lawyers who form a partnership after meeting in the courtroom.
"One thing I thought was important was that 'Partners' be as smart as 'Frasier' was," Grammer told The Times on Sunday during a party hosted by Fox/FX for the Television Critics press tour. "Martin and I are not Frasier and Niles on this show by any means. We're more like Oscar and Felix - but in a way that isn't tired. They use their brains in a more vicious way because they want to win cases."
"Partners" premieres Aug. 4 at 9 p.m. on FX.
