Andy Samberg and Kit Harington to Star in HBO Tennis Mockumentary '7 Days in Hell' Alongside Star-Studded Cast

Wimbledon is taking a trip to HBO.

"Game of Thrones" actor Kit Harington and "Brooklyn Nine-Nine" actor Andy Samberg will star as rivals in the HBO movie "7 Days in Hell" - a tennis mockdocumentary about a week-long match at Wimbledon.

Samberg will portray Aaron Williams, a superstar tennis player with a bad boy reputation, while Harington is set to play Charles Lloyd Poole, an "Andy Murray-type prodigy and certified truck driver who takes on Williams at Wimbledon 2004," according to Deadline.

The actors have teamed up with "Girls" writer and co-executive director Murray Miller and "Saturday Night Live's" Jake Szymanski, who has signed on as director. The sports mock-documentary is based on an original concept by Miller and Samberg.

Samberg, Miller and David Bernad of "Enlightened" will work as the executive producers, with Jonathan Buss of "The Sixties" as co-executive producer.

"7 Days in Hell" will also star Lena Dunham, Fred Armisen, Will Forte, Karen Gillan, Howie Mandel, Michael Sheen, Mary Steenburgen, June Squibb and former CNN anchor Soledad O'Brien, who will play himself in the film.

Deadline's Nellie Andreeva wrote, "Adding to their rivalry is Gillan's supermodel Lily, Charles' childhood friend who made a sex tape with Aaron. Steenburgen plays Charles' psychotic and controlling mother, while Forte plays a tennis historian."

According to The Hollywood Reporter, more actors are expected to be added to the HBO project, however additional character details were not yet available. Entertainment Weekly reported some actual tennis players could make an appearance in "7 Days in Hell" - such as Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic and Maria Sharapova.

The comedy will be a portal of the actual longest tennis match in history - Wimbledon 2010, an epic match in which John Isner defeated Nicolas Mahut after playing for 11 hours and five minutes over the course three days.
