'Batman Vs. Superman' Movie (PHOTOS): 'Dawn of Justice' Set Features Destroyed Vehicles; Production Preparing For 'Big' Scene?

“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” is reportedly filming a major scene in Michigan this week.

Batman-News reports something “BIG” is happening on set, which currently has destroyed buses and police vehicles. However, the “Batman vs. Superman” production hasn’t commented about the set shoot.

The “Batman vs. Superman” production was the most talked-about film at San Diego Comic-Con this year. Director Zack Snyder along with cast members Gal Gadot, Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill made an appearance at the Warner Bros. panel. Snyder helped unveil the new Wonder Woman costume and a short teaser of the “Batman v. Superman” film.

Snyder and the “Batman vs. Superman” actors didn’t get the chance to talk about the production during Comic-Con. However, fellow cast member Scoot McNairy recently spoke to Issue magazine about joining the “Batman vs. Superman” team.

“It’s been great,” McNairy said. “I’m still in the middle of it actually. Zack Snyder is awesome. He was one of the director’s on my list. Working with him has been great. It’s not too different working on a studio movie, except there’s more people and more money and more time. In regards to the process that I go through as an actor, it’s exactly the same.

“Snyder has so much energy,” he added. “I’ve never seen someone with such energy before. He’s shooting and writing and editing and then goes to the gym twice a day. He’s incredibly energetic and I don’t know how he does it. It’s contagious. I was going to the gym every day as well.”

“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” will hit theaters on May 6, 2016.
