'Winds of Winter' Release Date: George R.R. Martin Talks 'South Park' Parody, Reveals Why He Isn't Working On 'Game Of Thrones' Season 5

George R.R. Martin wants the world to know the “South Park” creators go one major detail about him wrong in their “Game of Thrones” parody.

Clevver News asked Martin during San Diego Comic-Con 2014 what he thought about the parody. Though the “A Song of Fire and Ice” author hasn’t watched the episode, his wife and assistants have seen it.

“I haven't actually watched it. I have it on TiVo, and various of my assistants and my wife have watched it. They're debating whether I should watch it or not,” Martin said. “I do love ‘South Park,’ I love some of the other episodes that they've done. I'm a sensitive soul. Would it be too rough on me? I don't know.”

However, there was one detail that particularly crawled under the author’s skin.

“I do have to say, I've been told that my character on ‘South Park’ is obsessed about weenies. I have to deny this as a scurrilous rumor,” Martin told Clevver News. “I have nothing against weenies, weenies are fine, but I am not obsessed with weenies. I am definitely on the boobies side of the equation. They picked the wrong equation for me: boobies, not weenies.”

Martin is currently working on his sixth installment of his “Fire and Ice” saga, “Winds of Winter.” The author told Vulture he would be a little less involved in season five of “Game of Thrones.”

"I’ve got to finish the book 'The Winds of Winter,'" Martin said. "So I don’t think I’m going to do a set visit this year, sadly."

The author also confirmed he won’t be writing an episode for the upcoming season. Martin added he wasn’t involved in the casting this season. The production revealed the new cast members during their Comic-Con panel, revealing many new characters from Dorne.

Alexander Siddig will play Doran Martell, Toby Sebastian will play Trystane Martell, Nell Tiger Free was recast as Myrcella Baratheon and DeObia Oparei is taking on the role of Areo Hotah.

Enzo Cilenti is is set to play Yezzan, Jessica Henwick is Nymeria Sand, Keisha Castle-Hughes is Obara Sand, Rosabell Laurenti Sellers is Tyene Sand and Jonathan Pryce will play “High Sparrow.”
