Jessica Barrymore: Drew Barrymore’s Half-Sister Found Dead In Her Car Near San Diego

Jessica Barrymore, the half-sister of actress Drew Barrymore, was found dead inside a car near San Diego early Tuesday morning (July 29). According to local media and People magazine, a woman discovered the body as she was leaving for work.

The unidentified woman told reporters that the car was blocking her driveway and when she approached the vehicle she saw a woman slumped behind the wheel. Reportedly there was dozens of white pills scattered around the car and an energy drink was between Jessica's legs.

Police said the woman in the car was unresponsive when they arrived at the scene, People reports. Neighbors believe the vehicle could have been sitting there for hours. Jessica would have celebrated her 48th birthday on July 31.
