Santee Historical Society Member Photographs UFO Over Edgemoor Barn

A Santee Historical Society member reported caught an unidentified flying object (UFO) on camera while taking pictures of the historic Edgemoor Barn near San Diego.

It's not every day that you catch a glimpse of something you can't explain flying across the sky above you. However, a Santee Historical Society member Ellen Henry was able to capture one such unidentified flying object (UFO) on her camera while she was taking pictures of the historic Edgemoor Barn near San Diego. Henry told 10 News that her camera immediately stopped working after she had taken the picture and also reveals how "spooked" she was after the incident.

"I was like what was it doing there," said Henry. "Why was it there? What was it doing? And I said, the next time I come here, the barn will be beamed up."

The Barn is part of what used to be hospital grounds and has now been converted into a museum with the hospital and its surrounding buildings being previously demolished. The Santee Historical Society runs the museum and faces regular questions about ghost sightings and paranormal activity at the site. Some say what flew overhead is not out of the ordinary because of what has been reported around the barn.

"We think someone's come into the barn and we get up to look, and no one is there," said Elaine Murphy, president of the Santee Historical Society.

"I was constantly looking up and around the area, including the sky's background, so I can get it just right, and not at any time did I see anything in the sky, or heard a sound of an aircraft," Henry later wrote accompanying the picture she had taken.

Though the barn is situated along several flight paths, making it possible that the flying object could have been a military or civilian aircraft, public airport Gillespie Field and Marine Corps Air Station Miramar both couldn't explain the sighting, reports the Daily Mail.
