Jennifer Lawrence and her boyfriend Nicholas Hoult called it quits again, E! News reports. A source close to the couple told E! that Lawrence and Hoult broke up because of their hectic work schedules.
"They spent a lot of time apart because of work and it was difficult on their relationship," the source said, adding that the split was "very amicable."
The two Hollywood stars have been dating on and off since 2011. They rekindled their romance last year after splitting for a few months. During an interview with Marie Claire, the "Hunger Games" actress said she wasn't ready to get too serious with Hoult just yet.
"We're so young that it would almost be like if we lived in the same city, what would happen? We'd be living together," she said, referring to rumors that the two were engaged. "At least this way he's in the same boat as I am: We can go out and have our own lives and know that we have each other."
"When we're busy, we agree to mutually ignore each other," Lawrence added. "Not completely, but neither of us gets mad when the other doesn't text back or call. Life's super busy. Obviously you know what they're doing, and you trust them."
Hoult and Lawrence are both co-stars on the hit "X-Men" franchise. Not long after splitting from the actress, Hoult was spotted grabbing a bite to eat with Kristen Stewart. Stewart and Hoult are currently in Japan filming a movie together.
According to Hollywood Life, the two were at Tsukiji Market in Tokyo and were reportedly getting a little cozy. The Fix claims Hoult split from Lawrence because of her "ego" following the success of her career.
"[Jennifer and Nicholas are] still talking but Nicholas is moving on," a source previously told the site. "Nic wants a more low-key girlfriend."
