Anna Paquin is a bisexual mother and proud of it.
In an interview with Larry King on "Larry King Now," the 32-year-old "True Blood" actress faced questions about her sexuality and admitted that she still considers herself a bisexual despite being married to her co-star Stephen Moyer.
"Are you a non-practicing bisexual," King asked, in which the actress replied, "Well, I am married to my husband [Stephen Moyer], and we are happily monogamously married."
"But you were bisexual?" the 80-year-old interviewer asked, prompting for the actress to clarify her statement.
"Well, I don't think it's a past tense thing," Paquin explained. "Are you still straight if you are with somebody? Doesn't mean you're not, if you were to break up with them or if they were to die, it doesn't prevent your sexuality from existing. It doesn't really work like that."
King, who has been married eight times, changed the subject, but not before ending with a joke, saying, "Stop with wishful thinking."
The Oscar winner came out as bisexual in a PSA in 2010 - which is reportedly the same year she and Moyer were married. The couple welcomed fraternal twins - son Charlie and daughter Poppy - in 2012. Last month, she told the Huffington Post that it is important for society to accept the LGBT community.
In June, Paquin opened up about her relationship on Twitter, writing, "Proud to be a happily married bisexual mother. Marriage is about love, not gender."
The seventh and final season of "True Blood" airs on Sundays at 9 p.m.
