Sandra Bullock Is Forbes' Highest Paid Actress

Forbes has released its latest rankings of the Highest Paid Actresses of 2014 and Sandra Bullock tops the list.

Although Sandra Bullock didn't win her second Oscar for "Gravity," the movie has made the Hollywood star the highest paid actress for the period covering June 2013 to June 2014, according to Forbes. Bullock, who already snagged an Oscar for Best Actress for "The Blind Side" in 2009, was estimated to have earned $51 million in the last 12 months, with the space thriller "Gravity" as her biggest project. The Alfonso Cuaron directed movie was a box office and a critical hit, earning over $716 million all over the world and raking at least seven Oscars.

Second on the top earners' list is Jennifer Lawrence, who, at 23, has estimated earnings of $34 million. The actress, who is part of "The Hunger Games" trilogy, did the critically acclaimed movie "American Hustle," as well as the box office favorite "X-Men: Days of Future Past" for the period covered.

Jennifer Aniston may not have done blockbuster movies in the past year, choosing instead to do small comedies like "Horrible Bosses" and "We're the Millers," but according to Forbes, the actress is still a top earner, ranking third on the list for her numerous endorsements and her residual earnings from "Friends."

At number four is Gwyneth Paltrow, who did "Iron Man 3″ in 2013. Her earnings are estimated to be at $19 million, thanks to lucrative endorsement deals with Max Factor and Hugo Boss.

The 2013′s number one, Angelina Jolie, has dropped to fifth place, tying with Cameron Diaz. Both actresses earned $18 million. Forbes does the annual ranking by talking to accountants, agents and other Hollywood insiders to gather their data for compiling Hollywood's top earners. According to the recent report, the women in Hollywood showed impressive earnings but their male counterparts still earned considerably higher. The Highest Paid Actors list has a combined earnings of $419 million compared to the women, with just a combined earnings of $226 million.
