Lil' Kim didn't waste any time following up on her arch nemesis Nicki Minaj's remix of "Flawless" with Beyonce that dropped early Sunday. The Queen Bee released her own version of the hit single on Monday with some lyrics targeted at her longtime rival, All Hip Hop News reported.
On the Nicki and Bey version, the "Anaconda" MC calls herself the "queen of rap" and gives props to her collaborator Beyonce by calling her "Queen Bey."
Kim seems to have been slighted by the claim and saw the "Queen Bey" and "Queen Bee" line as a personal diss.
Some of Kim's lyrics include:
"Am I tripping or did this h* just say my name?"
"Queen of rap? F**k outta here. Queen's back, f**k outta here. Time to get this wack b***h outta here." (In direct reference to the "queen" nicknames in the Nicki and Bey track).
"I woke up like this, f**k outta here" (Kim gets straight to the point with this lyric).
"Still got my d**k stuck on her lips. I ain't even stunting the b***h." "Damn, it's a shame, I gave you the rope b***h, I want you to hang."
The feud between Nicki and Kim has been ongoing. During an appearance on morning show The Breakfast Club on Power 105.1 in May, Kim claimed that she was close friends with Baby and Slim of Cash Money when they were forming a few businesses together.
She feels they introduced her to Nicki so the hip hop community would endorse Minaj, and things got sticky when a track they recorded together never came out despite promises of a video and big marketing. Following that, Nicki allegedly got very catty with Kim when they were around each other, and that's when Kim started publicly dissing her in songs, including "Black Friday," according to Young, Black and Fabulous.
