Sri Lanka Vs. Pakistan Live Stream Cricket: 1st Test, August 2014 (WATCH)

Sri Lanka plays Pakistan on Wednesday in the first Test of their 2014 series. The contest begins at 04:30 GMT every morning until Sunday, Aug. 10. Watch the live stream below.

The two sides split their three-Test series when they met in 2014. For Sri Lanka, there's an added importance to win the series: it's veteran Mahela Jayawardene's last two Tests.

"We need to win the series both for him as well as the future of Sri Lankan cricket," skipper Angelo Mathews said, via Ibnlive.com. "The task ahead is clear in our minds."

Sri Lanka had a great start to the season - winning the Asia Cup, the World T20 and their Test series against England - but will need to bounce back from their 1-0 home loss last month to South Africa.

Pakistan, meanwhile, would be happy to play spoilers to Jayawardene's farewell.

"If we are to win the series in Sri Lanka, we have to ensure that their top batsmen, particularly Jayawardene, is not allowed to get many runs," skipper Misbah-ul-Haq said, via the National. "I have a lot of respect for what he has achieved but we are going to Sri Lanka to win the two-Test series and we know how important it is for us to not allow their senior players to score."
