Smartwatch maker Pebble announced Tuesday that it is making some of its original watches available in three new colors.
The new colors are Fly Blue, Hot Pink, and Fresh Green, and customers can get them now at GetPebble.com, according to PC Magazine. Pebble said, however, that the Limited Edition smartwatches are "a one-time production run" and will only be available as long as supplies last.
The addition of the new colors follows two years after the startup had customers vote for new color options in its #ColorMyPebble contest, in which Orange and Grey were the winners. These two colors were added on to the company's original lineup, which consisted of Cherry Red, Jet Black, and Arctic White.
Myriam Joire from Pebble said the company has always wanted to expand its color options for its devices, Engadget reported. Pebble didn't have an easy time trying to find a color for the silicone band that would match with the polycarbonate watch, and Joire joked that the team spent a lot of time deciding the right shade of pink for the device.
Customers will be able to customize the Limited Edition smartwatches with different skins and bands, as they could with the original lineup, PC Magazine reported. They will also be able to add new smart faces and text faces to the watches. These faces are appropriately called Fresh, Hot, and Fly.
"We're having lots of fun mixing and matching bands between the different colors themselves," Pebble said.
Pebble customers have other products to get into, such as a new Weather Channel app, which is available now in the Pebble app store. The company added that an animated Reading Rainbow watch face, which will include "8-bit Levar Burton," will be released later this year.
