Joe Jonas is officially back on the market -- Us Weekly reported that the 24-year-old singer ended his 20-month relationship with girlfriend Blanda Eggenschwiler.
A representative for the former Jonas Brothers member told Us Weekly that "Joe and Blanda have mutually decided to part ways," and that the "split was amicable and the two remain friends, with great respect for one another."
A rep for Eggenschwiler, who is a graphic designer and model, told E! News that the break was "mutual" and added that "they both wanted to do new things. Joe wants to be single right now and they thought it was better if they are just friends."
Jonas and Eggenschwiler reportedly began dating in November 2012, after being introduced by a mutual friend. There are no reports citing when the breakup actually happened.
The former Disney star and Eggenschwiler were recently spotted together at the Cadillac & Refinery29 party last month, where a source claimed that there was tension between the couple - leading to Jonas posing for pictures alone and storming inside after the red carpet.
Jonas, whose famous exes include Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift, Camilla Belle and Ashley Greene, was spotted having fun at Lollapalooza this past weekend and tweeted about his favorite musical "Chicago." He also talked to VH1 about trying new things, but made no mention of Eggenschwiler.
"The last year, there's been a lot of different changes, so I've been able to have a lot of time for myself and do different things," Jonas said. "Things that I enjoy doing, like DJ-ing, or starting a cooking show, or getting a house. Getting things like that started. That's been a lot of fun."
