Neil Gaiman once said, "Biting's excellent. It's like kissing- only there is a winner."
But this isn't that kind of biting, nor is there a winner.
A San Diego man pleaded not guilty to biting off a man's fingertip during a Jay-Z and Beyonce concert at Pasadena's Rose Bowl, The Associated Press reports.
Roberto Garnica, 25, entered pleas on Tuesday to battery, battery with a serious bodily injury and mayhem, AP said.
According to the Los Angeles County prosecutors, Garnica groped and pushed a woman in her 20's into chairs, which ignited a fight with her husband at the Saturday night concert.
Authorities say Garnica punched the man before biting off the tip of his left index finger.
Police also arrested eight other fans at the concert for public drunkenness and two for scalping, according to Billboard.com.
If convicted, Garnica could face up to eight years in state prison.
