Keeping up with the top secret wedding trend, actress Alexis Bledel and Vincent Kartheiser have tied the knot.
Us Weekly reported that the "Gilmore Girls" star and her "Mad Men" beau tied the knot in a top secret ceremony in Ojai, California last June.
"It was a small and intimate family affair," a source told Us Weekly. "They wanted something relaxed and beautiful. Ojai was the perfect place. His family flew out from the East Coast."
The couple met two years ago, when Bledel guest starred as Kartheiser's mistress on AMC's "Mad Men". Kartheiser previously said that the two "were completely professional" on set and did not begin dating until season five of "Mad Men" wrapped.
Bledel and Kartheiser have kept their relationship low profile. In 2013, the 35-year-old actor proposed to Bledel after a year of dating and a source told Us Weekly that the couple "couldn't be happier."
Both stars have received much support from Kartheiser's co-stars. In an interview with Vulture, "Mad Man" creator Matthew Weiner said, "I told Vinny that they would be great together. I was like, 'Don't blow it!'"
He continued: "Honestly, they're a really good match. They're both very down-to-earth, with a sense of responsibility and strong family ties. And they've been acting since before they can remember, which makes for a very special personality. It's not just that I thought they would look cute together."
Last March, co-star Elisabeth Moss told People Magazine that the couple "are such a yin and yang. I've known Vinny for 12 years and Alexis is just the sweetest. I've never seen Vincent like this. It is really cool."
This is the first marriage for both stars. Bledel previously dated actor Milo Ventimiglia and model John Paul.
