The Oakland Raiders play the Minnesota Vikings on Friday in their 2014 NFL preseason opener. Kickoff is at 8:00 p.m. ET. Listen to the live radio broadcast via the links provided below.

Vikings fans are expected to see the debut of rookie quarterback Teddy Bridgewater. The former Louisville signal caller slipped to the bottom of the draft's first round before Minnesota traded up to grab him.

Bridgewater, who will relieve starting quarterback Matt Cassel, told reporters he's just excited to get onto the field.

"It's a dream come true, to finally be able to play my first game in the National Football League," Bridgewater said, via the team website. "I've been playing football since I was 5 years old, and I've just been waiting for this moment. ...

"I just can't wait to get out there."

Vikings coach Mike Zimmer also is anxious for Bridgewater to play and is curious to see how the rookie performs in a game-like situation.

"When the lights come on, it's a different deal. It'll be good for him and how he reacts to seeing different defenses that he hasn't seen very much of, how he has to readjust the blitz, how he gets the ball out and make the right calls, how he plays under pressure," Zimmer said. "I anticipate he's going to play very well."

For Oakland, eyes will be on starting quarterback Matt Schaub. The veteran signed with Oakland over the summer and is expected to make his debut in black-and-silver Friday night with the first-team starters.
