Actress Christina Ricci and her husband James Heerdegen are reportedly the parents of a newborn baby boy.
Us Weekly reported that the 34-year-old "Addams Family" actress has welcomed her first child with Heerdegen. Information about the birth, including the child's name, place and date of birth have not been revealed.
Last May, Ricci sparked pregnancy rumors after being photographed at Los Angeles International Airport sporting an unmistakable baby bump. The "Bel Ami" actress later confirmed through her publicist that she was expecting a baby.
"They are thrilled and ready for a change of pace," a friend of the actress told Us Weekly at the time.
Ricci and Heerdegen met in 2011 while on the set of her now-cancelled ABC TV series "Pan Am". Heerdegen was a member of the crew, working as a dolly grip.
In October 2013, the couple tied the knot during an intimate wedding ceremony in front of family and close friends at the Harold Pratt House and Peterson Hall in New York City. Ricci posted a picture of herself on Twitter at the time wearing a Givenchy haute couture gown.
"I love so many things about him," Ricci said of her husband, according to Us Weekly. "He's my favorite person on Earth. I can't wait to have our own little world replete with small beings!"
Ricci, who has been acting since the age of nine, is currently filming a movie titled "Mothers Day" alongside actresses Susan Sarandon, Eva Amurri and Sharon Stone.
Congratulations to the happy family!
