First it was the outrageously hilarious "Football Cops" when Peyton and Eli Manning teamed up as a police duo to fight crime. Then came their debut rap video promoting the DirecTV mobile football app last season. The QBs released a new rap video for DirecTV Monday.
At this point, the production scene/rap lifestyle are commonplace for Peyton and Eli, as their third video in three years was released by DirecTV on August 11. This year's rap song is called "Fantasy Football Fantasy" where the two promote DirecTV NFL Sunday Ticket's new 'Fantasy Zone' channel that is dedicated to nothing but fantasy news for those participating in fantasy football. Take a look at the video below:
Their first rap video was also promoting a new DirecTV product at the time, which was the company's new Sunday Ticket Max app, allowing users to watch football all day on their computer, tablet or smartphone. The title of the song was "Football on Your Phone" and Peyton's mullet coupled with Eli's afro drew a lot of attention in their rapping debut. Check it out below:
But the brothers' official debut came in 2011 when they starred in a preview for DirecTV's fake miniseries 'Football Cops.' Peyton and Eli starred as Mike Tahoe and C.J. Hunter - a police duo who fought crime with their arms, but not with guns or nightsticks. The NFL Pro Bowlers hurled footballs at criminals who were wielding weapons and engaging in illegal activity. Six armed thieves were no match for Tahoe and Hunter. Take a look at the official video:
However, Peyton and Eli hope their rap skills don't translate onto the field, or else the Denver Broncos and New York Giants will be in trouble this season. The Broncos are 1-0 in preseason play and the Giants are 2-0, while both look to bounce back from disappointing finishes last season.
