Maksim Chmerkovskiy Reunites With 'Dancing With the Stars' Partner Meryl Davis in Detroit (PHOTO)

America's favorite "Dancing With the Stars" couple has reunited once again.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy and his dancing partner Meryl Davis met up in Detroit over the weekend for breakfast. A source told E! News that Davis picked up Chmerkovskiy from the airport and took him to eat before driving him to a scheduled event at the Westland Center Mall.

In the midst of their rendezvous, the rumored couple made time for some selfie action.

"Got to see this one! Finally! Thanks for breakfast @meryledavis," Chmerkovskiyn captioned a photo of the two smiling while spending time together.

The 27-year-old Olympic gold medalist reposted the same picture with the caption, "Missed this one @Maksimc."

The season 18 winner of "DWTS" were rumored to be dating during the show - with several reports stating that the two were caught kissing backstage. However neither star has confirmed nor denied the dating rumors.

During an interview with Social Life Magazine in June, Chmerkovskiy compared his relationship to Davis to being at a summer camp.

"It is like being at a summer camp when you're a teenager," Chmerkovskiy explained. "You spend summertime away from your home. When you spend three months very closely with someone at a particular place, it is like a summer love. You have no choice but to get involved with that person."

He continued: "I am very close with a few of my past partners because they have played a huge role in a big part of my life. Three months is a long time, and if I am going to give someone that much of my time, I am going to develop a relationship with that person."

Last month, Chmerkovskiy announced that he was not returning to "DWTS" as a professional dancer.
