“Man of Steel” actor Harry Lennix has confirmed he will be joining the “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice production.”
Lennix spoke with ScreenWeekTv (via Comic Book) regarding rumors about the DC production. Lennix, who played General Swanwick, couldn’t specify plot details, but did admit some of film bloggers have got it right.
“Well, I can tell you that it is…when you have these two characters going toe to toe if you will, head to head, but you also know that you’ve got to make it hopefully into something that can keep going, it presents a very interesting challenge to a writer,” Lennix said. “And I can say that the script that I read is very good. I can’t tell you much, because then you wouldn’t want to see it. But I can say that it is very dramatic.”
Lennix explained there is some information on the Internet accurate, and doesn’t know where bloggers get the inside scoop. However, Lennix is confident the script won’t disappoint fans and he looks forward to working with Ben Affleck.
“You can find out a lot more about it, then I’m able to say anything about, because we signed contracts, by going onto the Internet,” Lennix told ScreenWeekTv. “Because a lot of the fans have more information about it than I have, and I can say that some of it seems to be informed. I don’t know where they got the information, but it is a great script.”
However, fans might have it wrong when it comes to Jena Malone’s alleged casting. “The Hunger Games” actress was just visiting director Zack Snyder on set, according to a comment she left of Director of Photography Larry Fong’s Instagram page. Malone previously worked with Snyder on the not-so-hit movie, “Sucker Punch.” Check out Malone's comments in the Instagram post below.
“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” will be released to theaters on March 25, 2016.
