Robin Williams Death: Daughter Zelda Williams Breaks Silence, 'I'll Try To Keep Looking Up'

Comedian and actor Robin Williams, 63, died of an apparent suicide on Aug. 11, and his eldest daughter has responded to her father’s sudden death.

Zelda Williams, 25, took to her Instagram account to share a brief message dedicated to her father.

“You - you alone will have the stars as no one else has them..." Zelda wrote, quoting Antoine De Saint-Eupery's book “The Little Prince.” “In one of the stars I shall be living. In one of them I shall be laughing. And so it will be as if all the stars were laughing, when you look at the sky at night... You - only you will have stars that can laugh."

Zelda ended the post with, "I love you. I miss you. I'll try to keep looking up, Z."

Williams leaves behind daughter Zelda, as well as sons Cody Alan Williams and Zachary Pym Williams. The actor’s third wife Susan Schneider released a statement shortly after his death to US Weekly.

"This morning, I lost my husband and my best friend, while the world lost one of its most beloved artists and beautiful human beings," Schneider said. "I am utterly heartbroken. On behalf of Robin's family, we are asking for privacy during our time of profound grief. As he is remembered, it is our hope the focus will not be on Robin's death, but on the countless moments of joy and laughter he gave to millions."

Authorities are investigating Williams’ cause of death and a forensic examination is scheduled for Aug. 12, according to a news release. The comedian was best known for his roles in "Good Will Hunting," "Mrs. Doubtfire," "Aladdin," "Hook" and more.
