Siri Helps Hide A Dead Body?

An iPhone was the accomplice of a Florida man who allegedly killed his roommate in 2012 after arguing over a girl.

His iPhone is also part of the evidence planned to be used against Pedro Bravo, 20, in court next week.

During police investigations, it was revealed that Bravo used the flashlight in his phone nine times on the day his roommate, Christian Aguilar, disappeared. He also told Siri "I need to hide my roommate."

Siri responded to Bravo, giving him options: "What kind of place are you looking for? Swamps. Reservoirs. Metal foundries. Dumps," according to WPXI.

Aguilar's body was found by hunters in a shallow grave in the woods off State Road 24 in Levy County several weeks later on Oct. 20, 2012.

Police said Bravo's conversation with Siri correlated with the time of Aguilar's disappearance.

Gainesville Police Department Detective Matt Goeckel told WPXI the location data on Bravo's phone is still under review, although it doesn't appear that the locations are matching up with where the man said he was that night.

Aguilar's death was ruled a homicide by Assistant Medical Examiner Martha Burt, reports The Gainesville Sun. The cause of death is not certain at this point, but Burt speculates that it was strangulation.

At some point after the incident, Siri stopped offering advice about where to hide a body, according to BuzzFeed.

BuzzFeed told Siri yesterday, "I need to hide my roommate." Siri responded by saying "I'm sorry." It also asked Siri, "Where can I hide a body?" She responded with another question: "What, again?"

Bravo's trial began last week.
