Blake Lively is working hard on her acting career, website...and making babies?
The 26-year-old former "Gossip Girl" star gets candid about starting a family with husband Ryan Reynolds in the September issue of Marie Claire Magazine. Lively called her 37-year-old beau her "best friend" and admitted that she can't wait to have children.
"We've never gone a week without seeing each other," Lively said. "There's no major decision that I make without him. The best part is when we turn off our phones and just talk and hang out. He's my best, best friend. What do you do with your best friend? You do nothing."
The blonde beauty commented on her past claims of wanting 30 kids of her own, saying, "I gotta get started. If I could spit out a litter of kids, I would."
The couple tied the knot in a quiet ceremony in South Carolina in September of 2012. Last August, Reynolds told Details Magazine that people think he's crazy for wanting a big family.
Lively also dished about her latest business venture - the launch of her lifestyle e-commerce website Preserve, which is considered part magazine, with "articles, recipe, artisans and products, many handmade one-of-a-kind items all selected" by the actress.
"I went straight from high school to 'Gossip Girl,' and both were very structured, scheduled environments, so I never had freedom to explore and carve my own path," she said of starting her website. "When I finished my show, I wanted to take a break from acting and try what I would have tried if I hadn't acted, and that was this."
Along with her new website, Lively is also working on a PBS documentary titled "A Path Appears," a miniseries about sex trafficking.
"I don't pretend to speak for anyone, but my feeling is that the general consensus in the United States is that [sex trafficking] is elective here-that when women are prostituting themselves, it's their choice," she explained. "But what you realize when you start talking to these young women is that they're in emotional chains."
