Dog The Bounty Hunter Tracking War Machine After Alleged Beating

Dog the Bounty Hunter has vowed to nab mixed martial arts fighter War Machine after he allegedly assaulted ex-girlfriend Christy Mack on August 8, Fox News reported.

Duane Chapman, better known as his television name Dog the Bounty Hunter, first announced he was going after War Machine - whose real name is Jon Koppenhaver - on Twitter on Monday. He told the fighter that he should save his excuses for a judge and that Koppenhaver has 24 hours to turn himself in to police before he'll come after him.

The bounty hunter has been regularly tweeting warnings at Koppenhaver, with fans cheering him on and offering support. Koppenhaver has not tweeted since Sunday, when he left three posts about how the police will never give him a fair chance and how he's "not a bad guy."

Chapman's family works in the bounty hunting business with him, but they are closely connected to the MMA world, according to Fox Sports. His son Leland has fought MMA and the family is based out of Hawaii. He said cameras from his reality show have been filming since his investigation into finding Koppenhaver began and they have made contact with family members to pinpoint his location.

Seven arrest warrants have been issued for the fighter, who police say was involved in the beating of Christy Mack and another unidentified person at Mack's Las Vegas home on Friday, according to Fox Sports. Mack has since come forward and released photos of her injuries, along with an account of the events that night and a violent past with Koppenhaver.

"I believed I was going to die," she said in the statement about the beating.

Mack suffered 18 broken bones around her eyes, a broken nose, missing and broken teeth, a fractured rib and a punctured liver. This isn't the first time her ex-boyfriend had beat her, but she has never sustained injuries like she did on Friday, Mack said in the statement.
