Jennifer Aniston and beau Justin Theroux jetted off to the South Pacific for some much-deserved time together and to commemorate their two-year engagement anniversary.
The A-List Hollywood couple checked into Bora Bora's Four Seasons resort for a week-long stay, according to Us Weekly magazine. "It wasn't a surprise, but Jen planned the whole thing," an insider source told Us.
Their bungalow sat just above the French Polynesian waters. Aniston and Theroux soaked up some sun and caught up on their reading. "Jen and Justin both have reading lists," the source said. "When they go away they like to catch up on their literature."
The couple also celebrated Theroux's 43rd birthday on Aug. 10, the same day he proposed to Aniston two years ago. "The Leftovers" star expected nothing more than a cake for his birthday this year.
"It's hard to top after the proposal," he told Good Morning America on July 10. "We're also loving the engagement as well."
The acting duo has not released any details on their upcoming nuptials. Possible locations include Greece, her father's home country, or Los Cabos, Mexico where she vacations every New Year, according to the Daily Mail.
Theroux and Aniston's busy careers may be holding up their wedding day. HBO's post-rapture series "The Leftovers" is back for a second season and Theroux told Vulture this month that a Zoolander sequel with Ben Stiller "might be starting to get up and running."
The "Friends" actress returns in the "Horrible Bosses" sequel as Charlie Day's sexually manipulative boss, Dr. Julia Harris. Her next two projects include the indie drama "Cake" and Peter Bogdanovich's film "She's Funny That Way," which are both due out next year.
