Rapper French Montana insists his relationship with Khloe Kardashian isn't for personal gain.
"I don't look at it like that," Montana told the New York Daily News this week. "She's the funniest person ever."
Despite the Jenner-Kardashian hesitations regarding Khloe's new beau, Montana had nothing but glowing remarks for the TV reality family.
"When you're in the limelight and you're in that kind of position in life, you're always going to have haters," he said. "I feel like once you get to know them, they're really like (some) of the dopest people ever."
Montana and Khloe Kardashian's summer romance heated up quickly. The couple first hooked up in April and Montana already wants to marry the reality star.
"If he got his way, French will propose to her soon and they would marry by the end of the year," as source told Life & Style magazine in July. "French knows she is the one for him, they have discussed their future and she said she would marry him."
The Bronx rapper, originally from Morocco, hasn't put a ring on it yet, but Kardashian does star in Montana's new music video "Don't Panic." She dons a scary white mask in the "The Purge: Anarchy"-inspired video.
"It's just the whole purge concept," Montana told the New York Daily News this week. "And us doing the video together. It's the first video she ever did, and it got a little spike."
Khloe filed for divorce from her husband Lamar Odom last December after four years of marriage. After filing, reports linked her to rapper The Game and baseball player Matt Kemp before she got serious with Montana.
"She's a real, cool, down-to-earth person," the "Ain't Worried About Nothin" rapper said. "I don't think a lot of people get to meet her to find that out."
