Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett 'Stage' BBQ to Save Reality Show?

Despite the ongoing drama between Wilkinson and Baskett, the couple decided to play nice and host a family barbecue at their Calabasas, Calif., home. However, a source told E! Online that the event was staged and the couple acted as if they were getting along for the sake of their reality show, "Kendra on Top."

"Things are not good between them. Hank is an emotional guy and wants things to work out between them and still hopes that they will. He'd do anything to get her back," the source told E! Online.

The couple has reportedly been living together and acting friendly towards one another for cameras. A source told Radar Online that Baskett, a retired NFL football player, "seemed happy" during the event and added that "it seemed like everything is good."

"He said he's living at home," the insider added. "Everyone is acting like nothing happened."

However, a spokesperson for the WE Network told E! News that the couple will let their marital problems play out in front of the camera - adding that production has already filmed Wilkinson's breakdown after learning of her husband's affair.

The staged barbecue comes months after Baskett was accused of cheating on his wife of five years with a transsexual model named Ava London, who claimed she engaged in sexual acts with Wilkinson's husband.

Last week, Wilkinson reportedly met with a divorce lawyer to weigh her options. The former Playboy Playmate reportedly sees "no chance of rekindling" with the father of her two children - son Hank and daughter Alijah.

"Kendra has already been meeting with divorce attorneys trying to get her ducks in a row so that she can proceed once the show ends," the source added. "Kendra and Hank have not been sleeping in the same bed, he's been sleeping on the couch quite a bit, anywhere other than with her."

A friend of the reality star said that the Wilkinson was ready to move on with her life and "start a new chapter," adding that she is "completely over Hank."
