A woman claiming to be Beyoncé's surrogate is suing the "Diva" singer for custody of Blue Ivy. Tina Seals filed a lawsuit on Aug. 14 in a Manhattan federal court alleging that she gave birth to Blue Ivy, not Beyoncé.
According to Starcasm.net, Seals is asking the judge to declare her as the mother of the 2-year-old girl. She is also seeking custody of the child. In the suit, Seals claims that she was "previously associated" with Beyoncé and Jay Z and wants the judge "to verify whether she is the biological mother."
While the lawsuit might sound ridiculous, it also dredges up old rumors that Beyoncé faked her pregnancy. Before Blue Ivy was born, it was heavily speculated that the "Drunk in Love" singer wasn't actually pregnant and was faking for the media. Everyone remembers the video that surfaced of Beyoncé's "collapsing baby bump" during an interview. (If not, check it out below).
So far, Bey's lawyers have not responded to the lawsuit, but they may not have to. According to Starcasm, Seals has filed several similar suits against other celebrity moms, including Kim Kardashian, Mariah Carey and Janet Jackson.
Seals also sued Prince Williams and Kate Middleton, alleging that the royal couple used her as their surrogate. To make her already ridiculous claims that much crazier, in her suit against Kardashian, Seals said she was looking for "stipulation + Negotiable money judgment OR Record Deal for my 22 year old son w/Kanye West."
The case was tossed out a few weeks ago and most likely a judge will toss Seals' case against Beyoncé as well.
Beyoncé previously addressed - and dismissed - the fake pregnancy rumors saying that she isn't that vain to hire a surrogate.
"A stupid rumor, the most ridiculous rumor I've ever had about me," Beyonce said in her HBO documentary. "To think that I would be that vain. I respect mothers and women so much. To be able to experience bringing a child into this world, if you're lucky and fortunate enough to experience that. I would never ever take that for granted."
