Amanda Bynes Arrest Update: No Hard Evidence To Prove Actress Was Smoking Weed

With all of the craziness surrounding Amanda Bynes, there may be some luck in store for the troubled star following her arrest last week.

According to TMZ, the police's case against Bynes is falling apart rather quickly due to lack of hard evidence. A law enforcement individual explained that there is no hard evidence that Bynes had possession of weed.

An NYPD office explained that no marijuana or any other drugs were recovered from the scene. The officers only saw Bynes throw out what appeared to be a bong and smelled "a strong odor of marijuana."

The alleged bong will almost certainly not be admitted into evidence as the news outlet broke the story that the glass remnants were found on a sub-roof. Police came to check but the glass had apparently sat there for days and it may have been tampered with. There is no physical evidence of what was allegedly thrown.

The 27-year old responded to the report by TMZ in a tweet: "This is the first correct article except for one huge mistake! NOTHING was thrown out the window! I didn't throw anything out of the window! For them to say "she confessed to throwing a vase out of the window" is false and illegal!"

Bynes' parents are worried that the actress may be suffering from schizophrenia and have tried to intervene by getting a conservatorship.

Bynes also returned to Twitter where she hatched a new feud with Chrissy Teigen. This was not the first time Bynes has feuded with someone over the social media platform. Over the past couple of weeks, she has gotten into arguments on twitter with Jenny McCarthy, Courtney Love and Rihanna.
