To honor Robin Williams this weekend, TV channels like Disney, The Hub, Reelz and more will run tributes to the late actor and air some of his best TV and movie performances.
Disney will air the animated classic "Aladdin" across several networks starting on Saturday night. Watch Williams voice the Genie at 9 a.m. and 6:30 p.m. on the Disney Channel. Additionally, the 1992 movie will air at 11 a.m., 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Disney XD on Sunday. Disney Junior will also show the film on Monday at 11 a.m.
Williams made his debut as the lovable alien Mork in a 1978 episode of "Happy Days." The episode where Richie Cunningham sees and speaks to the extraterrestrial from planet Ork will be played on The Hub network at 6 p.m. on Friday.
The Reelz channel will air "Robin Williams Remembered" at 8 p.m. on Friday. The tribute special will look back at his career as a stand-up comedian and his work with Comic Relief and other charities. Another special, scheduled for 8:30 p.m., will highlight his on-screen career, which spanned a total of five decades.
Already scheduled TV airings for Williams' movies include his first Oscar-nominated performance in "Good Morning, Vietnam" and his 2007 appearance in "August Rush." CMT will air the Vietnam drama on Friday at 11:30 p.m. and TV Guide Network will air the Freddie Highmore musical drama on Saturday at 5 p.m. and 9:30 p.m.
