Cat Terrorizes Owners, Who Call 911

A cat forced its San Diego owners to call the police around 4 a.m. after holding them hostage in a bedroom, according to the Associated Press.

It all started when "Cuppy" the cat, also known as "a ball of fury" by neighbors, wouldn't let one of his owners pass to go to the bathroom, according to Daily Mail UK.

Enraged, Cuppy began shredding his owner's nightgown with his claws and the owners were forced to go into a bedroom to get away from the cat, who became aggressive, Daily Mail UK reported.

Police responded and called Cuppy's name until he was content enough to walk out on his own.

Although Cuppy has been his owner's pet for 14 years, neighbors say he is very unpredictable, according to ABC News 10.

The family is considering euthanizing the cat after the attack, according to Daily Mail UK via KGTC-TV.
