On the bowling front, South Africa took 10 wickets total and restricted Zimbabwe's batsmen - Aaron Phangiso and Imran Tahir each took three wickets apiece.
Zimbabwe struggled to produce on offense. The batsmen averaged a meager run rate of 4.36, with Hamilton Masakadza leading the team with a 61-run effort and Sean Williams chipping in with 51 runs. The bowlers also struggled to limit South Africa and finished the game with only three wickets taken.
