Selena Gomez and Ashley Benson have had a fallimg out of sorts after Benson started dating James Franco by dumpinf boyfriend Ryan Good who was a friend of Justin Bieber.
Gomez and Benson reportedly became really good friends while shooting their upcoming film "Spring Breakers". However, recent reports suggest that the Gomez now feels "used" and betrayed after Benson dumped Good to be with Franco.
"Selena feels used and kind of punched in the face, seeing as though she got Ashley the role and Ashley just used the opportunity to break her friend's heart," A source told RadarOnline.com. "After Emma Roberts turned down the role because she didn't want to gain weight for it, Ashley practically begged Selena to get her in front of producers for the part.
"She did, because she thought they were all friends, but it was clear early on that Ashley had something going on with James."
According to the source, Good had a feeling that something was wrong in his relationship with Benson after she started withdrawing herself from him and showing more interest in Franco.
"Once the shoot wrapped, Ashley told Ryan they needed to 'slow down' and then booked a flight to New York City to go see James' art gallery showing," a source said. "Selena is p***ed off that she went out of her way to vouch for Ashley, only to have her dump Ryan. [Ashley may have] got the role and got the man, but she lost a good friend."
Franco recently took to his blog, which was posted on the Huffington Post, to deny the Benson rumours.
"I hear that I've been dating Selena Gomez, Kristen Stewart and Ashley Benson. Hot damn, am I a lucky guy," he wrote. "I wish I had actually gotten closer than the 13th row of the theater in Toronto where Kristen gave her On the Road Q and A, but I didn't; not only did I not talk to her, I didn't even go to the SoHo house where I supposedly asked her out on a date. As for Gomez and Benson, those are Bieber's girls and I wouldn't dare tangle with the Biebs. I heard he wants to kick my ass. Yikes!"
