'GTA 5' Online Update: The San Andreas Flight School Challenges Gamers In Air Combat

The latest online update for “Grand Theft Auto 5” encourages users to join The San Andreas Flight School for a little training to give gamers the edge in the air.

According to Rockstar Game’s official blog, the update will include 10 additional missions that will take your piloting skills to the next level. Gamers will be challenged in combat maneuvering, low-flying, formation flying and more.

With the completion of each mission, your flight school rank will increase and so will the perks. There are new collections of Chutes and Parachute Bags, your back up plan for when things don’t go your way.

“The San Andreas Flight School Update for GTA Online is now available via automatic update 1.16 for both PS3 and Xbox 360,” Rockstar wrote in their blog. “In addition to everything listed above, today's update also includes a number of other adjustments and fixes for GTA Online.

“Most notably, all Contact Mission GTA$ and RP awards have been rebalanced so that more difficult missions will earn you greater rewards, GTA$ payouts on replays are no longer reduced and all rewards are now time scaled. For a look at all the changes in this update, please check out the full dossier at Rockstar Support.”

Rockstar is also aware of the technical difficulties some users are facing from July’s Independence Day update. Developers are attempting to correct the issues with some experiencing the loss of their Musket rifle.

“We are aware that some players have been experiencing an issue with the loss of their Musket rifle from the Independence Day Special,” Rockstar wrote. “We're currently investigating this, and if you want to be among the first to know once it's been fixed…”
