32-year-old actor Stephen Amell and his beautiful bride, Cassandra Jean, renewed their vows in a small ceremony in New Orleans on Sunday, May 26. The couple first married in December 2012 in a private ceremony while vacationing in the Caribbean.
According to US Weekly, the couple celebrated their wedding with family and friends. Shortly after saying "I do" Amell posted a picture with his bride on his Twitter page.
Amell told the magazine that before he begins shooting the second season of CW's "Arrow," he plans on spending some quality time with his wife.
"We're mixing in some international promotion for the show with a nice vacation," Amell said. "Stockholm, London, Monte Carlo, Toronto and China."
The couple's first wedding is said to have been officiated by a close family friend. The two have not talked much publicly about their marriage but a few days before marrying Jean the first time, Amell tweeted the good news saying "2012 was the greatest year of my life. Heading off to put the finishing touches on it" and then posted pictures of him and his new bride getting cozy on their honeymoon.
Actor Matt Damon also recently celebrated a second wedding to his wife Luciana in April. The two were first married in 2005 at city hall in Manhattan. Wetpaint reports that Damon and his wife did not have a honeymoon because he had to leave to go back to set for the movie "The Good Shepherd."
The second time around, the couple went with a more elaborate wedding, renting out the Sugar Beach resort in St. Lucia. The three-day celebration included guests such as Chelsea Clinton, Stanley Tucci, Chris Hemsworth, Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Chris Messina, Jennifer Todd, Gus Van Sant, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner. The wedding was officiated by Jimmy Kimmel.
