"Teen Mom" star Farrah Abraham is reportedly snagging a half-a-million-dollar payday out of her strip club "research" endeavor, Huffington Post reported on Tuesday.
Abraham started working at Palazio Gentlemen's Club in Austin, Texas, about a month ago as a cocktail waitress. She quickly began dancing to make more money, but insisted it was all for research. She claims she signed a $544,000 deal to dance as part of the club's celebrity house feature, which premiers on Friday. Customers who want a dance from the 23-year-old will have to pay over $2,500 for an hour or $500 for 10 minutes.
"It's job shadowing that I hope one day pays off. In the same way Jennifer Aniston researched her role as a stripper, that's what I'm doing. It's how I get the information to write my books and do my movies," she said, according to Huffington Post.
Palazio's manager, BeBe Montgomery, added, according to Reality Tea: "It benefits everybody. It's really fun. I hired Farrah as a waitress about a month, ago and then we talked about it. She decided to switch to dancing. And then we talked again and came to an agreement of six figures. We're really happy and excited,"
Abraham will strip Wednesdays and Fridays through the end of December. She will begin running a frozen yogurt restaurant in Texas and filming "Axeman II" in California in October.
Although rumors of a $1.5 million payout for her adult film may have been exaggerated, Vivid Video paid Farrah six figures for the video. A royalty check obtained by TMZ shortly after its release showed she was initially making around $60,000 a month.
