Wonder Woman Lynda Carter Accepts Gal Gadot's ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, Along With 'Batman vs. Superman' Director Zack Snyder

“Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice” director Zack Snyder and former Wonder Woman Lynda Carter accepted Gal Gadot’s ALS Ice Bucket Challenge.

Carter shared a special message to Gadot on her official Facebook page. The former Wonder Woman’s statement reads:

“I am on my way to the famous Bethesda Softworks video game company (creators of Fallout and Skyrim and many more blockbuster games) to do my ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. They have graciously agreed to throw a bucket of ice water on my head. Gal Gadot: don't forget... we are now sisters in this and don't you just adore Ben Affleck? Ben Affleck: I knew you when we did ‘DADDY’. You were a force... now you are a superhero force!”

The actress has shared kind words to Gadot in the past and believes Gadot is capable of embodying the character. Carter most recently spoke to the Huffington Post about the “Batman vs. Superman” actress.

"I'm in her corner," Carter told the HuffPost, referring to Gadot. "I just hope they write well for her!"

"I'm very hopeful she embodies the essence of Wonder Woman," she added. "It's less about super powers and more about heart and intellect and a sense of right and wrong with a goodness in her...Often times, writers really want to take a male superhero and dress him up as a female - and that's just not who she is."

Snyder also participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. The director called out his “Watchmen” cast members Malin Akerman, Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Carla Gugino. Check out the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge videos below.
