Despite the bizarre behavior Amanda Bynes has displayed in public or on her Twitter feed, her lawyer does not find any of her actions strange.
According to People, when they spoke with Bynes' DUI Attorney, he has a different outlook on Bynes.
"I think [reports] are way exaggerated," Richard Hutton said. "I think Amanda's fine. I have no problems with her whatsoever. She's a fine client."
Unlike many other encounters with the actress, Hutton has a different perspective when communicating with the Bynes,
"Every time I've talked to her, I've had nice, attorney-client normal relations with her," he said.
Even when it comes to her recent arrest, Hutton believes everything was simply "blown out of proportion."
"The New York case doesn't seem like much of a case, really. I mean, come on. Even if you believe everything you hear, it's something that amounts to virtually nothing," said Bynes' lawyer about her arrest on May 23. "And it's my understanding there's not much evidence to back that case up. There's no physical evidence to back it up. I understand there's no marijuana, no pipe."
Last week's arrest was not the first one for Bynes. Back in 2012, the 27-year old was arrested for a DUI. However she does not have to appear in court unless the case goes to trial. This was not the only incident to occur. Bynes was also caught in a hit-and-run and driving with a suspended license.
As reported yesterday, there seems to be no hard evidence in Bynes' most recent arrest. No marijuana was recovered from the scene and there is a possibility that Bynes may be acquitted from the charges. She's set to appear in court sometime in July.
