‘Saved By The Bell’ Movie Releases New Zack And Screech Clip

A personal dressing room and large studio impressed new teen stars Mark-Paul Gosselaar and Dustin Diamond when they arrived for their first day on the "Saved By The Bell" set.

Lifetime released the latest clip from "Unauthorized Saved By The Bell" that features the boys who played Zack and Screech on the '90s teen comedy. Lark Voorhies makes a brief appearance, but she doesn't find the set as cool as the boys do.

The clip also introduced Mark-Paul's part-Indonesian mother, a surprising characteristic for the all-American boy. "Well, I don't think anyone told your hair it was half Indonesian," Dustin jokes.

The boys explore the backstage of the studio and take full advantage of the space to play a game of tag. Early on, the castmates seemed to be getting along.

The behind-the-scenes TV movie is based on Dustin Diamond's memoir "Behind the Bell." Diamond also served as an executive producer.

The rest of the cast did not give its blessing to the movie. Mark-Paul Gosselaar disagreed with Diamond's negative re-telling of their time on "Saved by the Bell" and Elizabeth Berkley, who played Jessie, has no interest in watching the movie.

"I am not really curious about it to tell you the truth. We know the lives we lead and it was so innocent," Berkley told Us Weekly. "It was a really sweet time so I have no idea what it's going to be."

Dennis Haskins, who played Mr. Belding, also didn't have high hopes for the project.

"I was there. I know what happened and what didn't happen. And there wasn't time for a lot to happen behind the scenes," Haskins told TMZ. "There just wasn't any craziness... Yeah, people dated each other. Okay? So what?"

"Unauthorized Saved by the Bell" premieres on Sept. 1 at 9 p.m. on Lifetime.
