Twitter has opened its advertiser-exclusive "Tweet Activity Dashboard" to all users, allowing them to track the activity of their posts.
The micro-blogging service is now sharing statistics from users' activity through its specially designed Tweet Activity Dashboard. The tool, which was previously accessible only to Twitter advertisers and celebs, will let all Twitter users see how people are engaging with their tweets in real time. A graphical representation of their tweet activity over time is also shown.
Twitter said the new tool will be helpful for those who wish to see how their tweets are trending along with detailed views of any tweet such as the number of retweets, replies, favorites, follows and even clicks. Users can immediately start analyzing their Twitter popularity by logging on to the analytics webpage.
According to Twitter's support pages, the Tweet activity dashboard will display statistics for users who have been on Twitter for more than two weeks. The tool is currently supported for tweets sent out in English, French, Japanese, and Spanish. The tweet metrics will not immediately show up on the analytics webpage, as Twitter says it takes some time to gather and display all the information related to a particular account.
Twitter's new tool is being rolled out to all users in phases, which means it may take a few days before it is widely available to all users. After viewing respective tweet metrics, users can also download them for offline viewing.
The latest attempt in engaging users on the site is a part of Twitter's ongoing efforts to add more users. The social network has introduced several new features for the betterment of the site and is constantly testing new features. Earlier this month, Wall Street Journal spotted the social network's new test feature that explains hashtags. Last week, the company officially handed the right to authorized users to request the removal of images and videos of deceased individuals.
