Samsung Unveils Curved Soundbar To Compliment Its Curved TV Range

Samsung'brings the world's first curved Soundbar to compliment the company's curved UHD TVs.

Samsung, one of the largest electronics companies around the world, is building a new platform around its lineup of curved gadgets. After launching curved TVs,smartphones and smartwatches, Samsung announced the world's first curved Soundbar to match its pricey UHD TV range.

The HW-H7500 Curved Soundbar features a curvature radius of 4,200mm.

The latest addition to the company's audio product line will be shown at the prestigious IFA 2014 event in Berlin, where the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is expected to be launched. The Soundbar offers some top-of-the-shelf features, complete with three drives to deliver sound form three directions for an immersive surround sound experience. It can also be connected to the television wirelessly using Samsung's proprietary TV SoundConnect Bluetooth technology.

In addition, the Curved Soundbar features a brushed aluminum finish with a slim width of 42mm. It also boasts support for 8.1 channel sound system and EQ control from TV remote.

"Following the successful launch of our Curved TVs, Samsung is looking to expand the curved line-up with the introduction of Curved Soundbar - a first 'Total Curved Solution' for the consumer AV industry," Young Lak Jung, Vice President of Samsung's Visual Display Business, said in a press statement. "As the market leader in curved technology, Samsung strives to create the most complete home entertainment experience - whether that's watching the latest 4K content on our Curved UHD TVs, immersing yourself in incredible surround sound or listening to the latest music throughout your home."

The latest features packed in Samsung's HW-H7500 Curved Soundbar does not come cheap. The Soundbar retails for $799.99.
