Tiger Woods finished the first day of the Memorial Tournament +2 and tied for 62nd after shooting 71. Trailing Bill Haas by 12 shots, Woods will try to catch up on Friday.
The second round of the PGA Tour's Memorial Tournament begins at 2:30 p.m. ET. You can watch it for free HERE.
Woods had an average outing on Thursday, CBS Sports reports. He shot two birdies on the front and three more on the back to go along with four total bogeys. Woods wasn't impressed with his 1-under 71 score.
"It was probably the highest score I could have shot today," he told the Golf Channel after the round. "I hit it a lot better than my score indicates and I didn't make much."
Vijay Singh and Rory McIlroy are also struggling to get into contention. Singh is tied for 74th and is +3, while McIlroy is tied for 93rd and +6.
Haas leads with a -10. Matt Kuchar and Charl Schwartzel follow, both tied for second-place with -7. Scott Piercy and Charlie Wi round out the top five at -6 and -5, respectively.
