Oh baby, Scarlett Johansson is officially a mom.
The 29-year-old "Lucy" actress and her fiancé Romain Dauriac have welcomed their first child - a baby girl named Rose, the Associated Press reported. Johansson's publicist, Marcel Pariseau, said that "mother and daughter are doing well."
No further information about the newborn was released. Pariseau told the AP that "the couple is seeking privacy and are supporters of the No Kids Policy, the celebrity effort to keep famous folks' children out of the public eye."
Johansson and Dauriac have been engaged since September. The actress sparked rumors of an engagement after stepping out at the Venice Film Festival wearing a vintage Art Deco engagement ring. At the time, a representative for the actress confirmed that the two lovebirds were "very happy."
Johansson was previously married to actor Ryan Reynolds for two years.
"It is [easier], but it's more than that," Johansson told Vogue Magazine about being with a non-actor like Dauriac, who is a French journalist. "We do different things. He's in the whole art-scene world. So it's nice, because we can enjoy each other's worlds, but we don't have our crazy conflicting schedules and all that other stuff to contend with."
In March, People Magazine reported that the couple were expecting their first child together, however the actress never publicly adressed the pregnancy.
Earlier this year, Johansson's "Avengers" co-star Robert Downey Jr. told E! News that he believes the actress will be a great mother.
Congratulations to the couple!
