Roger Federer plays Marin Cilic on Saturday in the 2014 U.S. Open semifinals. The match is slated for 1:30 p.m. ET. Watch the live stream below.
Federer is putting to rest any question of whether his dominance in Grand Slams is finished. He's dropped only three sets en route to the semifinals, including the two sets he dropped in the quarterfinals against Gael Monfils. Despite being in an early 0-2 hole, the Swiss managed to climb out and win three straight to earn a spot in Saturday's match.
"I served well and stayed in the match and somehow turned it around," Federer said, via his official website. "I felt great in the fifth, though. I started playing better and better as the match went on. It's a great feeling."
About being down two sets early, Federer said: "It was one of those moments when you got your back against the wall and hope to get a bit lucky and you hope to play exactly the right shots that you need or that he completely just messes it up. I'm very, very happy to have found a way tonight."
Cilic, meanwhile, has played just as well to land in Saturday's semifinals. He's dropped only three sets so far, and he managed to dispatch Tomas Berdych in straight sets during their quarterfinals bout.
"I'm looking forward to playing Marin," Federer said, via the Telegraph. "He's a great guy. We had a tough, tough match in Toronto. I think I needed nine match points to close him out and beat him at midnight, 6-4 in the third, so we know what to expect."
Federer has won all five of his career matches against Cilic.
