Greta Van Susteren Slams Fox News Colleagues for Sexist Comments (VIDEO)

On the Record host Greta Van Susteren lit in on a few of her Fox News colleagues on Thursday, after a particularly unsavory discussion panel aired.

Lou Dobbs, Juan Williams, Erick Erickson and Doug Schoen stirred the sexist pot on Wednesday, when they expressed confusion and abhorrence at a study that claimed more women are the primary breadwinners at home.

Erickson even said that the societal trend was counter to science.

"When you look at biology, look at the natural world, the roles of a male and a female in society, and other animals, the male typically is the dominant role."

Van Susteren then posted the video on her blog, parsing no words on the way she truly felt.

"Have these men lost their minds?" she wrote. "(and these are my colleagues??!! Oh brother...maybe I need to have a little chat with them (next thing they will have a segment to discuss eliminating women's right to vote?)"

The aforementioned study was released on Wednesday by the Pew Research Center. It showed that 40 percent of U.S. mothers are the sole or primary breadwinners of the family.

Baboons, hyenas, praying mantis, lionesses, bonobos, red ruffed lemurs, elephants, sharks and many species of birds all behave under female-dominated societal structures. Perhaps Mr. Erickson should give his Planet Earth DVD another go.
