Apple isn't the only fruit buzzing the internet today.
Samsung Belgium is launching a #aPearForAnApple campaign today in which it will buy a pear for every Apple iPhone6 sold today, according to Mac Rumors.
The pears will be distributed free of charge tomorrow at the Brussels-North railway station.
The campaign is designed to help support pear farmers in Belgium who are suffering after Russia's ban on the import of some food from America and Europe. Since the ban, many of these farmers are facing financial difficulties.
This isn't the first time Samsung is bouncing off Apple to campaign for its own brand.
In a recent commercial for Samsung's Galaxy S5, the company ridiculed the iPhone's short battery life, calling iPhone owners "wall-huggers" because they are constantly charging their phones.
