An NBC News producer was arrested Tuesday, Sept. 9 for allegedly secretly taping his then-girlfriend having sex with him and posting the video to a porn website. According to the New York Post, Carlo Dellaverson, who works as an NBC News digital producer, hid a camera in the Greenwich Village apartment he shared with the 29-year-old woman and taped them doing the deed on Valentine's Day.
Afterwards he posted the explicit tape to XTube, a source told the Post. The woman didn't discover the tape until months later, on Sept. 4, when she found it on his personal computer. She immediately ended the relationship and moved out of the apartment.
According to the Post, she emailed Dellaverson asking him why he posted the video but the producer danced around an answer. However, he did admit that he was the one who uploaded it. The ex-girlfriend filed a police report and Dellaverson was arrested and charged with disseminating unlawful surveillance and harassment.
A spokesperson for NBC News told TVNewser, "We are taking the matter very seriously and will determine the appropriate course of action once we have learned the facts."
So far Dellaverson has not responded to the allegations.
