Sara Gilbert had one special announcement to make on her daytime talk show - her pregnancy.
"The Talk" co-host had to decline a dare that would be dangerous even if she wasn't pregnant. It included lying on a bed of nails with a cement block laid on her stomach and then having someone smash the block with a sledgehammer.
"I really do believe in facing your fears and doing things that make you uncomfortable, but I actually can't do the dare because I'm pregnant," Gilbert said, as she fought to keep back tears during the episode on Sept. 9.
The former "Roseanne" star made the announcement in front of her co-hosts, studio audience and the millions watching at home. The other hosts immediately jumped out of their chairs and gave Gilbert hugs.
